Northwest's Connie was not nearly as well known as the Stratocruiser, or the DC-7 on it's domestic and international routes, but it held it's own for a number of years providing solid transportation. The L-1049G entered service with Northwest Airlines in January 1955 and up to 95 passengers could be carried in luxury. Printed on the front and back of a 100% cotton Gildan POCKET shirt, it is depicted on the ramp with passengers boarding in the rear.
